Pedal for Protein is a Ride for a Good Cause

[foogallery id=”2583″]

Pedal for Protein is a group of dedicated cyclists who participate in a seven day ride through Northern California to raise money for local food banks. Last year, they raised $53,000 and donated $5,000 of that money to the Fort Bragg Food Bank. This year, their goal is to raise $60,000. In the first 5 years of the P4P ride nearly $200,000 has been raised and donated to feed the hungry!

We will be hosting these riders when the arrive in Fort Bragg on Wednesday, September 25. They will be tired and hungry after a long day’s ride, so we’ll prepare them a nice dinner at the church in the evening, then set up an energizing breakfast the next morning for them before they leave.

We need your help!

  • Can you host a rider for one night?
  • Can you help do a little laundry so they have clean riding clothes for the next day?
  • Can you help us prepare dinner or breakfast?

If you can help, please contact Eve Nighswonger or use the “Contact Us” tab on this website.
